Boy were they happy
Tonight I took the kids to buy Halloween costumes. Boy were they happy!!!
As they have been invited to go trick-or-treating at the NYU dorms, on Halloween Eve, they needed costumes to wear. They already have their costumes for the big Halloween parade, but they wanted to wear something different while trick-or-treating, so we gave it a go.
We have been working on our costumes and ideas for a couple of months, so when we descended upon K-mart to get their extra costumes for trick-or-treating, I was shocked at how many people were still deciding on what costumes to wear this Halloween. Don't other families plan their Halloween costumes months in advance or are we just odd balls?
The kids were firecrackers in the store. They weaved in an out of the aisles looking at costumes. "I wanna be this. I wanna be that. What's that Dad? What about this Dad?" I had so many costume choices in my hands that I had to sit down just to organize the madness.
After much discussing and contemplating, the kids made their final choices and out walked Spider Woman and Darth Vader, both beaming with grins from ear to ear.

First day back to our photo project, after our first weekend away and like clock work, the kids made sure that I brought my camera. They seem to be enjoying it.
