Grady wanted to share all of the things that she has learned since her fifth birthday in August. It's amazing watching the growth of a child.
Here is her list.
1) whistle
2) snap my fingers
3) tie my shoelaces
4) wink....i've been trying to master this since I was 3.
5) read simple words
6) know my home phone number

Hard work never hurt anyone
We just had wood delivered to burn in our fireplace and I ordered a bit too much. Actually, more than a bit. We I saw the pile of wood that was delivered, I honestly thought that someone planned on building an addition onto the garage. It was a mountain of wood.
Anyway, I convinced the kids that stacking wood is a good thing and that they will grow up to be good workers and have nice lives. They stacked wood for about 1.5 hours which I thought was pretty swell for a 4 and 5 year-old. As I've been told plenty of times, hard work never hurt anyone.
