Christmas in the Country

We enjoyed our 1st Christmas in Starlight this year. The kids were so excited about it all and the excitement that they had leading up to Santa's arrival was electric. Santa made his way safely to the house and a good day was had by all.

Favorite Gifts

Grady: Hello Kitty Book Bag with wheels.......she jumped for joy when she opened this one.

Cyrus: Transformer mask and costume.....we can't get him out of it. He even wears it to bed.

Daddy Calvin: new bronze cookware for Starlight. Iron Chef here I come.

Papi Tim: a SNUGGIE. Don't ask.

The stockings were hung......

Our First Xmas Eve in our new home was perfect. I baked lots of goodies, we wrapped gifts, built a gingerbread house and just enjoyed being together as a family.

Preparing for our 1st Xmas in our new home

This year we bought our first home as a family. It is a weekend-vacation spot in Starlight, Pennsylvania and everything about it is magical. From the name to the setting, we absolutely love everything about our new home. We are all excited to spend our 1st Xmas here and the kids are very anxious for the big day when Santa comes down our chimney. It is a bit different than in our apartment in NYC, as "Santa has to come down the fire-escape and through an open window." Here are a few photos of us preparing the house for Xmas.
